Cortona hotels: Cortona Relais, Villa Baldelli, Arezzo, Tuscany, Italy, villa with swimming pool

My wife and I spent 2 weeks in Italy for our 25th anniversary. We stayed a some very nice places on that trip. But the one that really stood out above the others was the Villa Baldelli in Cortona. The staff was unbelievable and our room perfect. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to friends and family and we definetely plan to stay there again.

It wasn’t our first stay at the Villa Baldelli and it definitely won’t be our last. This time we stayed for 6 nights and we didn’t want to leave. The bedrooms are tastefully decorated, very clean and spacious. They suit perfectly to the style of the villa. A year ago our family stayed with us for 4 days at the Villa. We had 6 rooms, all very beautiful and absolutely comfortable. Breakfast is served inside or at the terrace…it’s a pleasure to enjoy breakfast under the trees with the nice view at Cortona. It’s varied with fresh baked cakes, bread, cheese, Tuscan sausage, eggs etc. Absolutely delicious! Some other remarkable points: quiet surroundings, well maintained garden, marvellous view at Cortona, nice pool-area and not to forget the staff: extremely helpful and accomodating. They were always on hand for anything you need. The restaurants in and around Cortona are worth a try. You can find trattorias etc. every taste with typical Tuscan food within a short drive. Ask the reception, they have always suitable recommendations and will make the reservation for you. We would highly recommend the Villa!
